Access Bank

This remain my top 1 bank with highest number of customers in Nigeria and Africa at large. Access Bank is a full service commercial bank operating through a network of more than 600 branches and service outlets.

Access Bank is a leading bank in Africa when it comes to customer base and this bank is spinning three (3) continent, twelve (12) countries and thirty-six (35) Millions customers worldwide.

Access Bank, in Nigeria, sub-sahara Africa and United Kingdom have more than 28,000 thousands employee in operation. In addition, the bank have some representative offices in United Arabic Emirates UAE, Lebanon, India and China.

When it comes to access bank benefits to Africa, it continues to look out for opportunities to build it's network in glob trade and payment center which has be of help to Africa to play its part on the world stage.

Zenith Bank

Zenith Bank is another commercial bank in Nigeria and the second largest customer base bank. It was founded in May, 1990 and commenced operation fully in July, 1990 as a commercial bank in Nigeria.

Zenith Bank has an estimated customer base of over thirty (30) Millions.

GTbank is the third-largest bank in Nigeria when it comes to users. It has an estimated customer base of over 25 Millions.

Guarantee Trust Bank Limited is a Multinational National Financial Company that gives Businesess, Individuals, Private and Public Organization across Africa and the United Kingdom with a broad range market leading products and services.

United Bank For Africa (UBA)

UBA has an estimated customer base of over 21 Millions. This bank was formed in 1961 to take over BFB's operations.

Apart from been the fourth bank in Nigeria with the highest number of customers, it's also the first Bank in Nigeria to list its share on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (LSE), becoming the first Nigeria Bank to do IPO.

In addition to UBA history, the bank bought Afrinvest was which was rebranded/renamed to UBA Capital, UK

First Bank of Nigeria

This is the last on my list of bank with the highest customers base in Nigeria. First Bank of Nigeria an estimated customer base of over 12 Millions.

First Bank Nigeria Limited was founded in 1894 by Sir Alfred Jones, a shipping magnate from Liverpool, UK.

First Bank commenced business on a modest scale in Lagos, Nigeria under the name Bank of British West Africa (BBWA).

First Bank is Nigeria's number one bank brand and leading financial services solution provider in Nigeria, with its headquarter originally in Liverpool, England.
